OYO 66397 Sharan's Inn

We stopped for one night and had a miserable stay. The room was filthy, water leaked from the taps, and there was a short circuit inside. The bedsheet and pillow cover were dirty and hadn't been changed. A room service worker was willing to help, but the receptionist refused, and the receptionist was very rude even though the other staff were friendly and helpful. The food they brought was horrible. We paid 1600, although the online price was around 800. Some photos on the profile don't match the property either.

For 1800 a night, this is too expensive for the Medchal area. The service was poor and the rooms aren't maintained well. The washrooms especially looked like public toilets. I'd tell people to spend their money elsewhere.

The room had several problems: it was small, unclean, the lights, AC and geyser worked badly, and water from the AC dripped inside. The windows opened onto nothing, and the cupboard was full of cartons. We didn't fuss about the cupboard since we were only there overnight. I also had to complain about being charged for breakfast and dinner by OYO when the hotel has no food service, and the hotel wanted 500 more for the room than OYO had quoted. Parking is either on the road out front or behind the hotel, so use the back. Traffic was moving on the road, so safety wasn't a concern. I stayed with my family, but wouldn't recommend it for families.

The location is the one good thing here. The walls had shoe and hand marks, there was hair on the floor, and the linen was dirty until I complained and they changed it. Maybe it's okay for a night when all you need is a place to sleep.
