Giriraj Restaurant, inside the hotel, was a highlight. Its Gujarati thali cost around ₹170 in mid-March 2026 and was fresh, simple, satisfying, and good value after a day of temple visits. Even if you’re not staying here, it’s worth trying if you like Gujarati food. The staff were polite and helpful, and the simple, clean, comfortable rooms worked well for a short religious trip. Hotel Damji is especially convenient for devotees, since Dwarkadhish Temple is a short walk away for morning or evening darshan. There’s also a large, comfortable parking area, which is useful if you’re arriving by car. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but the location, practical facilities, food, and service made for a pleasant stay. I’d give it around 4.5 out of 5.

The restaurant on the hotel premises, though not exactly in-house, serves fresh, homely food. Its ₹170 thali is enough for one person and is available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite, helpful, and easy to approach. Hotel Damji is about 500-600 m on foot from Dwarkadhish Temple and near the local market, which made getting around convenient. Rates seemed reasonable for the location and comfort. It was an easy, pleasant stay, and I’d choose it again next time I visit Dwarka.

Room service is limited to tea, coffee, and a few soft drinks. There’s a restaurant on the hotel grounds serving Gujarati food, and we thought the food was impressive. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with the needed amenities and a comfortable bed. The relaxing atmosphere made for a pleasant stay. They were strict about check-in and check-out times.

Giriraj, the restaurant by the parking area, serves reasonably priced home-style Saurashtra and Gujarati food, so it’s handy for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For Dwarkadhish Temple darshan, the location is great, about a 10-minute walk. There’s a good-sized parking lot, and the room and shower were in good condition, with hot and cold water. Free cold water from an RO-standard purifier was available at night.

I really liked the hotel and would give it five stars, but the restaurant was no good. Breakfast was limited to aloo paratha and thepla, and the service was poor. They even refused to give me some lukewarm water for my seven-month-old baby. If you stay here, I’d suggest eating out instead. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and street food options.
