Hotel Shree Vallabh

I won’t recommend this hotel. My elderly mother and aunt weren’t feeling well and needed rest, so they asked reception about an early check-in and what it would cost. After my mother asked again, the receptionist was rude and misbehaved with them. The staff didn’t know how to speak to a woman or an elderly person. A business in the service industry should know how to treat customers.

The whole stay fell far below even basic hospitality standards, and I deeply regret choosing this shabby, unhygienic hotel. It claims to be a 2-star property on Google, but this was a highly disappointing and disturbing experience. The owner and morning staff were polite and cooperative, but the night staff ruined the stay. Staff handling luggage dragged wheeled bags carelessly over the stairs, with no concern for damage. That was unprofessional. We’d booked in advance, so the hotel had plenty of time to prepare after the 12 PM check-in. Still, our room wasn’t handed over until 7 PM, and it was in an unacceptable state. The toilet was especially dirty, stained, and unhygienic, and the flush tank was broken. I specifically requested handwash, but it wasn’t provided. We left the room key at reception and asked for the toilet to be cleaned and the handwash refilled, but nothing was done. We’d also booked extra bedding ahead of time. When leaving the key, we clearly asked for it to be set up because we’d be back by 11 PM. It still wasn’t in the room when we returned. The night receptionist answered very rudely and insensitively, telling us to check first and come back to get it if it wasn’t there. He said this to a 60-year-old lady, which was deeply disrespectful. Eventually staff brought the bedding and threw it near the wall. It had visible tobacco stains, and someone walked over it in slippers before telling us, “kar lo set.” This was shocking and completely unacceptable. We tried to reach the owner right away, but he didn’t respond. When we told him about it the next morning, he didn’t seem apologetic or concerned.

I stayed at hotel shree vallabh in Dwarka on 13th and 14th December 2025, and felt I had to leave a review. The hotel didn’t provide towels, and the hot water was very unreliable. I’d suggest choosing another hotel.

On my trip from Somnath to Dwarka, I called the hotel using the number on its page to ask if a room was available. I specifically asked whether I should pay an advance to reserve it. The person told me not to pay anything yet, said I’d get a room on arrival, and asked me to call on the day I reached Dwarka. When I got there and called, nobody answered. I went to the hotel and asked at reception for the person I’d spoken with, but he didn’t respond. The receptionist then quoted a price higher than the one I’d been told or the one listed on the mmt sit. I was stranded at the last moment. It was a bad experience, and I learned to prebook hotels when visiting places like Somnath or Dwarka instead of trusting the number listed on the site.
