Hotel Metro View

The room itself was in awful shape: stained, dirty sheets, a torn headboard, and no soap or towel in the bathroom. The TV and AC wouldn’t switch on either, and when I pointed out the problems, staff told me I’d have to adjust. I also noticed that many room locks seemed broken from the outside, which made me feel uneasy. The staff behaved unprofessionally, and I was frightened when one of them offered me a girl. I checked out after only ten minutes because I didn’t feel safe there, especially for a family or someone travelling for work. I’d booked through MakeMyTrip and complained to customer care after leaving to find another hotel offline, but they didn’t help. I felt let down after paying in advance and relying on MakeMyTrip, and I won’t book through them again.

The staff weren’t helpful when I brought up the problems, which made an already disappointing stay more frustrating. My room was dirty on arrival, the facilities weren’t well maintained, and the hotel didn’t live up to its listing. For what I paid, I expected better. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I wouldn’t come back.

I was travelling with my family in an unfamiliar place, and ended up feeling stranded after I couldn’t reach Agoda customer support despite calling several times. We left and found another hotel, which cost us extra, and lost the money we’d paid here. I hope Agoda takes this seriously and improves its checks, since people trust it for family bookings. The problems were clear as soon as we arrived. There was a heavy cigarette smell around the property, and the housekeeper showed me a room with no door lock, left wide open. It was in very poor condition, with bed bugs and cockroaches. The AC, fan, and TV didn’t work, there were no basic amenities, and the washroom was terrible and felt unhygienic and unsafe. I’ve attached a video showing the room. This was a very bad experience, and the place wasn’t worth the money or even the walk to get there.

I paid in advance after looking at the reviews, but seeing the place in person was a reality check. There was no staff, and the flush and geyser weren’t working. Very disappointing. Don’t get caught by the rating. I wouldn’t recommend it.
