Hotel The Barsana

The restaurant staff were attentive and very good, and the food was great at reasonable prices. I found the general staff behavior average. The hotel has a good location and car parking, though the parking area is limited. I got a reasonable rate by booking directly, so that’s worth doing. A solid choice.

I could see the temple top and its flag from my temple-side room. The location is handy for going to the temple, about a 5 to 7 minute walk, so repeated visits are easy. The highway is right on the other side, which helps with trips elsewhere. The rooms are good, and there’s an in-house restaurant. Services could be a little better, but overall it’s a good hotel. I stayed three days.

The room was clean and well kept, and the staff were polite and quick to help. The food was decent too. I had a comfortable stay, 4/5.

Naresh and Shubham were especially helpful, arranging an auto rickshaw to the railway station around 3 AM when there’s no OLA/UBER in Dwarka. The hotel is about 2KM from Dwarkadhish temple, and the staff were friendly. Makhan Bhog has decent variety, though breakfast could use more options. We had to ask several times for towels and toiletries and for the AC to be fixed. The hotel was fully booked, so the heavy crowds may have contributed, and staff may not have been ready for them. I see this as something to improve rather than a criticism. Decent stay overall.
