Daksh The Grand Govardhan Dwarka

Yash bhai deserves a special thanks. The staff were polite, attentive and happy to help us with directions and temple timings. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms, air-conditioning and good Wi-Fi. The property was clean and well kept, and being close to Dwarkadhish Temple made it easy to attend both the morning and evening aartis. It made our short trip comfortable and memorable. I’d recommend it for a visit to Dwarka, whether for pilgrimage or leisure.

The rooms are spacious, clean and good for 2-3 people, but there was no hot water anywhere. They kept saying it would be on in 10 minutes, but nothing changed. I stayed two nights and three days, and still had no hot water after complaining several times.

The washbasin was so dirty I couldn’t brush my teeth there, and the bathroom water stayed dirty despite several complaints. The motion-sensing lights kept going off every 10 seconds, even while I was on the toilet, so I had to keep moving to turn them back on. The room layout was poor too, with a wardrobe that wouldn’t open all the way. This is a new property, but it already needs a lot of maintenance, and management didn’t seem to handle customer complaints well. This was my experience during a stay in October-2025.

We came for lunch on 03 Jan and were told to wait 15 minutes. Half an hour later, four or five people who arrived after us were seated first. When we asked why, the manager rudely said the only table for two was occupied. Asked why he hadn’t told us there was only one such table, he snapped that he couldn’t make those guests leave. We weren’t asking him to do that, just to be honest about availability. Poor service and an arrogant attitude from the owner or manager. Strongly not recommended.
