The Marine Pride Beach Resort & Spa

From the bed, you can watch the waves, which made the stay feel special. Both sides of Marine Pride resort have beaches that weren’t too crowded, almost like having a private beach. The views and location were mind-blowing, and I felt the stay was worth what I paid. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and room service was fine. My one letdown was breakfast. It was purely South Indian with limited choices. I’d have liked some North Indian options, fried items, sausage, or juice too. Breakfast buffets are one of the most enjoyable parts of a resort stay, so this matters. I would’ve given five stars if it had been better.

The sea-facing ambience was lovely and calm. I came with my family for a friend’s wedding reception, but parking was a real problem. The parking area was in bad shape and not properly cleaned, which made it difficult. I hope they make better arrangements for it.

The place is so far out that you can’t get a vehicle quickly, and the cabs arranged by the hotel cost too much. Food also takes forever, and the options are limited. There’s no power backup. Imagine paying a lot to enjoy a family stay in such a hot place, then having no power and nobody able to do anything about it. There are plenty of other beach hotels. I’d say never visit this one.

Be careful if you’re considering this venue for an event. I contacted them on Instagram and gave them the guest count and other details. They clearly quoted 85k for one premium sea-view cottage, including the full outdoor space and indoor restaurant area. When I came to confirm, the price had suddenly jumped to 120k, and they couldn’t explain the difference when I asked about the Instagram quote. They then offered 90k, which still felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I ended up rejecting the venue.
