Gokulam Park

The buffet had a great spread at both dinner and breakfast, and the food was sumptuous and well served. We recently had an amazing three-night stay at Gokulam Park Kochi. Service was excellent and very prompt, with the restaurant staff attending to guests quickly and with genuine care. Special thanks to Mr.Arun, the restaurant manager, and Ms.Anchita for their dedicated work, even in the early morning hours and beyond what was expected. They made it special for us. Way to go, guys! Keep rocking, and all the best.

We had a great stay for around two weeks in a clean, safe-feeling environment. The staff were always helpful and friendly, and the food at Periyar restaurant was awesome. Laundry and room cleaning were done regularly. Ms Kalpana from housekeeping took care of our room each day, while supervisor Ms Anjana regularly checked on the staff and asked if we had any specific needs.

The room felt unhygienic and was not clean, the in-room safe didn’t work, and traffic noise at night made it hard to sleep. Dinner from the hotel restaurant took an unusually long time to prepare and serve. We stayed at Kochi – Gokulam Park, which is advertised online as a four-star hotel, but it didn’t meet expectations. This was the only bad experience on an otherwise excellent Kerala trip. Please look at the pictures I posted before deciding to stay.

I was fooled by the brand name, and I won’t be coming back. They charge 4K per day, but the service was pathetic, and the front office person was as good as nothing. I’m not from Kerala and don’t know the local language. Room service didn’t know any other language, so I had to cancel my order. There are three plug points in the room, but only one works. The other two won’t hold a charger block in place, and even the working one needed a pencil to plug in my charger brick. The room temperature is fixed, and turning the thermostat knob to lower it did nothing. For a hotel charging 4K, I also expected a mini refrigerator. When I asked, the operator said it wasn’t possible. Thanks for spoiling my stay.
