OYO 6728 Almas Residency

I’ve stayed here twice. The first time, people in a neighboring room were smoking and drinking, which felt awkward and wouldn’t suit a family stay if it happened again. A tip for anywhere in Cochin: block the gaps under the door with newspaper to keep mosquitoes out. The rooms are clean and nice, and the bathroom is tidy too. Good value for what you pay.

We arrived, looked at the room, and cancelled the booking. The staircase leading to the fourth floor had no light, and the place didn’t feel safe to us. After reading the reviews, it’s better not to book here.

There’s no parking, and the hotel sits on a very narrow lane with traffic going both ways, so only one vehicle can pass at a time. We couldn’t unload our tempo outside, even for five minutes, without blocking the road. We parked in another lane 500 Mtrs away and carried our heavy luggage on foot. The rooms were in good condition, but cramped, with only a little space to walk around the bed.

The rooms were neat and very clean, and the staff were supportive with a good relationship with customers. We’d suggest almas residency to everyone. Thank you, almas residency, for the helpful service.
