I’d only suggest staying here if you won’t have to deal with Sonu at reception. He was unfriendly, rude, and seemed to be in a bad mood. The guest house would be much better if they changed the receptionist.

The room was the worst I’ve ever stayed in, even considering the price. The toilet was especially awful, with fecal matter still on the seat, and the linen wasn’t clean. We ended up cleaning the toilet ourselves because the staff were no help and were rude. I can’t recommend this place. Please avoid it.

They let me into my room when I arrived at 6am, even though check-in wasn’t until 11am. I really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. I felt bad because Oyo agency charges them extra for this, and I hope I can return the favor. I stayed one night, and for the price the hostel was clean and comfortable. Namasté, and thank you!

The bed was comfortable, there was hot water each day, and the hostel is off the noisy street, about 10-15 minutes from the temple. Still, I wouldn’t stay again. Dust covered the floor, the bathroom was filthy from previous guests and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned, and someone left our door open. A local man came into our room while we were there and offered us something to smoke, then tried to enter other rooms too.

We were promised a room, but the owner lied and didn’t provide it.
