The Anton Hotel

We were a group of 42, and my family's visit to the hotel in Eranakulam was a horrible experience, despite the good reviews I'd read. The reception staff member was very rude and spoke as though we were staying in a dharmshala without paying. There was no sense of service at all. The management is spoiling Kerala's name. I'd tell fellow tourists not to visit the hotel. I stayed on 17/2/26 at Hotel Anten.

The rooms are good, and I've been visiting this hotel for five months. The middle-aged man working nights used to be super friendly and helpful, supporting us in all kinds of ways. But this time they charged us for four adults and gave us a double room. The extra bed was very dirty; after we complained, we got two proper beds, but the service boy just left them there without sheets or pillows. The phone wasn't working either. In the morning, I told Santo about it, and he was rude and spoke to me very badly. He said they couldn't provide the same service every time and that I could take the room if I wished. When we asked for a bottle of water, he said they wouldn't give us more than one bottle. Santo in the morning and the young boy on the night shift were really rude. I'm never coming back. The hospitality was the worst.

We stayed for one day during our South India trip and found the price reasonable for a comfortable stay. The Anton Hotel is centrally located in Ernakulam, near Market Street, the metro, and Ernakulam Town Railway Station. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly. Even with the central location, soundproof windows kept things calm and quiet. It could suit families, short stays, or business travelers. There is free parking, a 24-hour front desk, and daily housekeeping.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and good, the food is good too, and the staff are nice. It's easy to get anywhere in kochi from here. Best hotel in town.
