The Trios Hotel

It’s in a lively, pleasant area, yet the hotel is surprisingly quiet. The rooms are spacious and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and professional, with a warm welcome from Dileep and Ashiq at the front desk. Good value for the price, and I’d stay here again.

My night at Trios Cochin on 28th January 2025 was disrupted by noise. Cupboards, wardrobes, and room doors all shut with a very loud bang. Whenever a room door closed, it sounded like heavy knocking in nearby rooms, and I couldn’t sleep. The reception and lift were well maintained, and the hotel has good interiors. The room design was nice, though the room itself was a bit cramped, but not too bad. The bathroom lock didn’t work, which was inconvenient. The price also seemed high for the room size and facilities.

The sheets were nice and clean, and the shower was excellent. The location is good and central. Breakfast had very few options, though I guess that comes with the lower room rate. The rooms are small, so there isn’t much room for large suitcases. Also, there’s no blackout curtain, which was terrible for me since I can’t sleep with daylight coming in.

The host was well spoken and helped us find our way around the area. The food was exceptional, and the room was clean and good value. The staff were very helpful throughout. It was a very enjoyable stay and definitely worth the price. Tourists should stay here.
