The room was dirty, the geyser didn't work properly, and breakfast wasn't served at the time they had given me. The employees also behaved unprofessionally. I booked at 6:30 am on 15 January and checked out around 12 pm on 16 January. When I asked about an early check-in fee, they told me there wouldn't be a charge. After checkout, they asked for 1,100 rupees for early check-in, about half a day's price. I paid it. Guests should be given clear information at check-in. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location is handy, with easy access to the railway station, high court, and other popular places. Staff were supportive, room service was good, and the meal was nice and reasonably priced. The rooms and toilets do need renovation, though.

Datt Residency is just 600m from the station, but my stay was a letdown. There were no amenities at all, not even a water jug or soap, and anything I asked for took over 2 hours. The room was dirty, the bedding stained, and the locks didn't feel secure. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was excellent and I had a good experience overall. The complimentary breakfast could offer more options, though. The washrooms and interior need renovation, and the cutlery should be in better condition. I was given broken tea cups, and there should be a tea kit in the room.

We only stayed for about 4 hrs. The place looked good from outside, but the room was a disappointment once we got in: it was very old and very cold. Cleanliness was okay for a short stay.
