The staff were the only good part, helpful and responsive. One receptionist on the night shift was good, but the one who arrived the next morning was rude. I paid 2700Rs. for a so-called deluxe AC room, but the AC had spider webs and clearly hadn't been used. The fan made a metallic noise, the phone didn't work, and I had to call reception from my mobile. If there's no mobile signal, that means going down two floors each time. The bed and pillows were poor quality and dirty, like something from a lodge. The bathroom was unclean, with cigarette butts on the floor. The geyser was rusty and somehow still worked, but there was no switch in the room, so I had to ask reception to turn it on. If only some rooms have been renovated, make a separate category and charge more for those rooms only.

The rooms were disgusting, with dead insects, and the food was very overpriced. When it was time to pay, the waiter stared at my wallet for exactly 2 minutes while I counted my cash in front of him.

The service from the staff was very prompt. The rooms are large, comfortable, and newly built, with a nice atmosphere. The hotel has been restored and refurbished, the washrooms are upgraded and spacious, and the food is delicious and clean. Cleanliness was up to the mark, and I slept comfortably.

The bathrooms were unusable, with hair, a nonworking geyser, an unclean commode, and taps that looked about 30 years old. Mosquitoes were everywhere and kept me company. The people handling check-in and check-out both had attitude problems, which says a lot about the staff's behavior and lack of basic courtesy toward customers. This was a filthy, unhygienic, intolerable place. I don't even want to think about this pathetic hotel, let alone write a review. If I could, I wouldn't give it even one star.
