OYO 29778 Panchadeep Bhawan

The restaurant food was good, though on the pricey side. Staff were mostly friendly and willing to work with us, but could come across as a little pushy, probably because of the language barrier. For this area, this may be the nicest hotel available, and it's fine all things considered. Still, bring cash because they don't take international cards. Staff would sometimes switch the AC power off or on, so I had to turn it back on myself or ask someone. The bathroom smelled of septic, and cigarette smells lingered in other parts of the hotel. Hot water was available for bathing, but not through a showerhead. There was no hand soap or other toiletries in the room.

The decor is very nice, and the rates are reasonable.

I found the people here uncooperative and unwilling to help guests. They kept saying no to our requests, including when we asked them to heat the food we'd bought from them for lunch so we could eat it at dinner. The rooms had no soap or dustbin, and people used foul language in front of women. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. It should be shut down.

I really liked the stay. A single room cost me 500 INR, and they included water and morning tea at no extra charge. The rooms are available at low prices, and it's a very nice hotel.
