Akash Guest House by OYO Rooms

The toilet commode was dirty, with hair all around it, and the dustbin had a beer bottle in it. There was no mineral water available either. I was already exhausted and had a knee ligament fracture, so I accepted the room after an attendant said in Hindi that lentils had spilled and I was alone, so I should adjust. Before bathing, I switched on the manual, second-hand O general AC, but afterward the room still wasn’t cooling. I waited, but the cool air only reached about two feet from the AC. When I asked for another room, an attendant asked people sleeping in other rooms to switch, then told me to sleep in a bed where drunk attendants had been sleeping. I asked them to change my room or refund me, but they did neither, so I left on my own. I called Oyo for 30 minutes asking for help and got none. I finally went back to Gurgaon at 2:00 am. I can’t imagine using OYO again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were unclean, and mosquitoes kept me awake almost the entire night. The AC wasn’t working properly, and there was no towel, soap, or almirah.

Really nice.
