OYO 37801 Hotel Welcome

My family and I were out of the hotel again within 15 minutes, but OYO never asked why we checked out so early. Now they want feedback after what happened. My mom, dad, sister, and I were abused, and I want strict action taken against the hotel. Who is responsible for this, and who should be blamed? This is the worst I expected from OYO after booking rooms for my family. At the booked OYO(37801), the receptionist first asked whether I had paid. I said I had, but he told me that payment through OYO didn’t count and demanded the same amount again at the hotel. OYO already had our 40000/-, and we weren’t entitled to OYO in any way, he said. He offered to find us a room somewhere else. At first he said there were no rooms, then, after I asked, he agreed to give us one. The room looked nothing like the photos in the OYO app, and the washroom was dirty, with faeces all around. When we asked for it to be cleaned, he refused. I asked for a different room, but he said I had to pay the hotel first before I could get a decent one. He also abused my family and me, told us to leave if we wouldn’t pay, and threatened us. He said he wasn’t afraid of consequences and knew how to handle OYO. I also saw the receptionist giving rooms to a man and a woman by the hour. I’m pretty sure he was using the rooms for some other purpose too.

I’d give this hotel minus 100. The staff have no manners when speaking to guests, and they use the guest washroom. There’s another door in the bathroom that connects to the staff room, with gaps in it. It’s a cheap, terrible hotel. Don’t go.

Staff charged me 30% extra and said not to pay through the OYO app, but to pay them directly or I wouldn’t get a room. I checked in at 11 a.m. Very bad. The location is shabby, and the rooms are so awful you can barely stand in them. This was a really bad stay at this hotel, and I was given wrong guidance.

Nothing could have been worse. I’ve never had such a bad experience, and I’m absolutely not coming back.
