Hotel Chandan

I can't speak to the hotel's other services, but the older man handling bookings was completely unreasonable. I was there with my wife and our 3yr old child, after driving back from Mandvi beach around 11pm. We were from Delhi, and he refused to take our booking after discussing a room for 1900, because my wife and I had different Delhi addresses. I was exhausted and didn't want to argue, though my wife asked him about it. What a ridiculous reason. I ended up booking at a hotel named FUN along with this one, then went back into town. I don't understand that kind of thinking. I was with my wife and child. I hope he changes his mindset and stops overthinking.

The front lobby is the only part that looks good. The rooms are old and dirty, and the staff don't seem to care.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the location close to the station was convenient. The reception is nicely decorated too. But the rooms feel dated, with old furniture and a box TV that doesn't work. Breakfast was poor for the high price. The stay was average, with a good location but little modern comfort or value for money.

I had a disappointing stay at Hotel Chandan. MakeMyTrip's policy promised mineral water, but the hotel didn't provide it, and the staff were rude, which was off-putting. The bed was uncomfortable too, so getting a good night's sleep was hard. Overall, it was far from satisfactory.
