The owner went out of his way to take us to the taxi stand in his own vehicle and help us look for a rental bike. We hadn’t expected that kind of help. He was very helpful, and we had a superb homestay experience. Highly recommend it.

the illusive view of kanchenjunga was incredible! i had a wonderful stay at the alpine guest house, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. the rooms rating is a bit low because there was a tarantula named timmy in our bathroom 😰🕷 he barely moved, though, so he wasn't that bad. helped cure my acrophobia🥳 (or something)

The owner helped us put together a day trip to ravangla, and was really friendly. My friends and I stopped at Alpine Guest House in Gangtok on our way home from a bike trip to sikkim. The rooms were comfortable and very nice, and we had a great stay. Thanks for hosting us, we’ll be back soon. I’d recommend the place.
