Damsang Guest House

The little museum at Damsang Guest House is a real highlight. The owner gives a quick history of the area and helps you get a feel for its local culture and heritage. The family runs the place together and does a lot to make sure guests have what they need. Our room was cosy, nicely decorated, clean, and very well kept. There’s a garden next to the house, and you can look out over the hills and a nearby children’s school. The food was tasty and healthy. They can arrange a taxi for local sightseeing, and if they have time, someone may take you to the Cross Hill viewpoint. If you’re staying in Pedong, I’d try to book here.

The staff were great, the food was standard, and the rooms were nice. A pleasant place to stay.

We really appreciated how kind and welcoming the hosts were. They made food to suit our preferences, and the stay was comfortable. The property also has a lovely museum filled with rare objects the family has collected over the years. Ritesh took us to nearby Cross Hill to enjoy the view and see the stars at night. :)

A walk up Cross Hill with Mr Rai was a special part of our stay. At night, the mountains on the other side looked as if the stars had come down to earth. The terrace was so peaceful, with cool breezes that seemed to ease away our stress. Hospitality was beyond what we expected, and the rooms and toilets were clean and well maintained. Thanks for these unforgettable memories.
