The hosts were warm, welcoming, and happy to help, including with local tips. Aura Homestay is also conveniently placed for getting into Gangtok town while staying somewhere quiet and relaxing. The rooms were well kept, clean, and comfortable, with lovely views over the hills. It felt peaceful and homey throughout. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok.

The open dining area was a favorite part of the stay. It’s a relaxed place to sit for ages, have drinks, sing, and share stories without restrictions, with peaceful surroundings all around. Bike parking is available, and the location works well for exploring East Sikkim or stopping over on a ride. The owners were warm, polite, and helpful, and everything was cared for, from the clean, comfortable rooms to the calm atmosphere and excellent food. It felt more like staying at a relative’s home than a commercial property.

The rooms and lovely dining area both look out over breathtaking hills, making this a peaceful escape. From the moment we arrived at Aura Homestay in Sikkim, they made us feel like part of the family. It was truly memorable.

The rooms are clean and pleasant, and the rates are affordable. You can see all of Gangtok town from the homestay. The owners are friendly and supportive, and it feels like staying in your own home. A very good place to spend the night.

I stayed here for three nights and visited Nathula pass and zero point. I’m very happy with the stay. The owners were really helpful with permits and travel packages for bikers, and Nepali Baini's breakfast and dinner were delicious.
