Hotel Silk Route Station by OYO Rooms

We came here toward the end of our tour and stayed in a suite. The welcome at reception was great, and the rooms, service, views, cleanliness, and activities were all very good. The location was a little hard to reach, and although the property looks good, it could be better. Food was a bit costly for its standard and quality. I’d come back if I get the chance.

The owner was really nice and arranged our Silk Route permit for us. The room was spacious, and there’s a beautiful balcony on every floor, accessible from each room. The food was quite okay too. We had a good stay overall.

We booked double-bed rooms, but were given one single bed and one double-bed room. When we raised it, they just told us to adjust. Papiya Roy works at the hotel, and I found her cunning. She seemed to care only about her money and not our trip. She spoiled the whole thing for us. We confirmed our dates in the first week of September and paid a large part of the total well in advance, but we didn’t get even 1% of what was promised. The car arrangements weren’t proper, and the homestays hadn’t been booked properly either. The food throughout the trip was poor, and one day they even served rotten food. When we called to complain, she started giving us cooking tips. Anyway, it’s your call. Have a nice trip and a safe stay.

The rooms are spacious and the place is nice. Mr. Sunil Pradhan was decent and helpful, and he did his best to sort out the problems. The lease owner’s service was pathetic, though. Meals weren’t served on time and the power supply wasn’t provided properly. The place would be good overall if you overlook those other issues.
