The rooms felt suffocating, with poor cleanliness, no ventilation, and a bad smell. Wi-Fi was poor too, and I had to move around the room to find a signal. It felt like being back in 2010. At check-in, they said breakfast would be available, but when I called the next morning, they denied it. I was travelling with a kid, so going out for breakfast at the last minute was difficult. Food service is practically nonexistent because of bizarre restrictions. The receptionist didn’t seem to have any authority. They also made us pay an undocumented Rs. 50 “government fee” per person and refused to give a receipt. Stay elsewhere, especially if you’re travelling with a kid.

The staff were nice and tried to help as much as they could, but the rooms are really old, including the furniture. The Agoda room photos are ages old. The TV, Wi-Fi, and elevators don’t work. In short, don’t book this hotel. I repeat, don’t.

I booked Muscatle from May 24 to May 25, 2026, and was very disappointed with the front desk service. Manoj and Dawa were rude and unprofessional, and didn’t apologize for their poor behavior toward guests. The room was dirty: the quilt cover was stained and the pillow cover hadn’t been changed. The shower didn’t work and there was no hot water. When I asked for a dental kit, Dawa at the front desk said they didn’t have enough staff to bring it. The staff were completely unprofessional.

A pleasant stay, with good food and a nice ambience. The location was fantastic, and the service staff were excellent.
