The one thing I can say for it is that the bed was comfortable. Everything else was a huge letdown. The rooms felt neglected, with cheap, unpleasant furniture, and I wouldn't have wanted to pay even 1,500 rupees for them. The charge was 6,000, making this the worst hotel we've stayed at during our time in Sikkim. We were told it's a Heritage Hotel, though only six tiny rooms fit that description. The rest of the complex looked all right at first, then went downhill fast. I can't understand how it gets a fabulous rating on Bookings.com; it doesn't come close to reality. I chose it hoping to give my wife a special birthday treat after two weeks riding around on an Enfield, which made the disappointment worse. I don't want to criticize the workers, since I know their jobs matter to them. Stay there at your own risk.

We found this quiet little place lovely for a few days of rest. The rooms were clean, cosy, warm, and even felt romantic. When we arrived in heavy rain and cold, they got us into a room almost right away, with no long wait. The host was really helpful. It felt like a hidden gem.

The complimentary breakfast had a great range of local and authentic choices. We also had a lovely view of Kanchanjunga, and MG Marg was only a short walk away. The manager was very helpful and arranged both our sightseeing and Nathula trips. We had a wonderful stay here.

The staff were so friendly, and the place felt like home. They helped arrange a Sikkim tour for my family, which turned into a memorable trip. We could choose local or non-local food, and what we had was tasty and not too spicy. There's a balcony with a view of Kanchanjunga when the weather is clear, and MG Marg is close by. The stay was awesome. When I return to Sikkim, Netuk House will be my first choice.
