We were a family of four and stayed at Samayaa for four straight days. The staff were caring, and the food was really tasty. A big thank you to Vicky bhaiya for some of the finest hospitality I’ve experienced. My sister’s birthday was on 30th June, and they even celebrated it with her. I’m writing this review a long time later, but I still remember that extra effort and our stay as one of my best experiences.

Samayaa is nicely built, with spacious rooms and mesmerising views over the Gangtok valleys. We enjoyed our stay, and the staff were humble and always ready to help. Breakfast was the one thing that could be better. I think they should offer more choices, like most hotels do these days.

I stayed at this lovely hotel in October, 2016. The windows gave us breathtaking views, and the room was spacious and beautiful, with comfortable beds. The food was nice as well. Its location near M.G. Marg was especially good for late-night food cravings. The manager and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the place, especially where it’s situated.

The rooms were big, spacious, and neat, and the price was decent. Breakfast came with the stay, but it could be improved. For all three days we were offered only paratha/Puri and bread, which didn’t feel like a standard hotel breakfast. It also wasn’t served before 8:30 am. When you need to travel at least two hours to reach nearby places, that delay isn’t something most people will appreciate.

A great budget hotel with warm hospitality and good service. They agreed to hold our luggage for two days while we went to Lachen n Lachung. MG Road is about 700m away, so the location is great too.
