Orchid Lords Eco Inn Gangtok

My stay here was very bad. Service was basically ZERO. There’s no parking, and nobody carries your luggage up to your room, so you have to take it yourself to the 2nd floor. Even after calling the service desk, no one came to fill the water bottle in the room. There were hot water problems too. The room was poor quality, with far too much fungus, and the food was bad as well. My personal suggestion is, please don’t plan to stay here.

The staff were all good and very helpful. Roman Tamang made sure we had a delightful stay, and the reception lady was welcoming and helpful too. The cleaning lady kept our room spotless. Orchid Lords Eco Inn Gangtok was clean, just like the photos, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was perfect for getting to local attractions. I had an excellent stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok.

We stayed two nights in a standard category room on a food plan, and room service was very good. The dinner menu changed by day, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a tasty buffet with a good range of options. There are lots of stairs to get to the rooms, so older people should consider that before booking.

We spent 4 Nights at the property, and the support was great from booking through the stay. They helped with different things on site, arranged sightseeing and other city trips, and sorted permits needed for some sensitive zones. The place is right in the city centre. The main local market, M.G. Marg and Lal Bazaar are just steps away, with lots of food options within walking distance. Booking directly with them was smooth. The staff were very helpful. I especially want to mention Mr. Roman Tamnag, the manager, who guided us through booking and put in effort to make our Sikkim trip comfortable and well informed, including travel arrangements and advice for visiting different cities in Sikkim. I’ll definitely return for such professional, courteous service. Thank you, Roman ji, for all your efforts.
