My room wasn’t properly cleaned when I arrived, and the hotel’s cleanliness standards were poor. The more troubling issue was staff conduct. Some employees appeared to act as commission agents for outside services and parking, steering guests toward vendors they preferred instead of giving unbiased suggestions. One staff member kept demanding money or tips for small tasks, and pressured us to take a tour package through a person he recommended, asking for more money. It made me very uncomfortable. This didn’t feel like a service tip, it felt like a demand for a bribe or commission. I urge management to investigate these serious allegations and retrain housekeeping on basic cleanliness. These practices can badly harm the hotel’s reputation. I’d advise future travelers to choose somewhere else.

The best part was the peace and quiet. The lodge feels tucked away from the world, making it easy to unplug and recharge, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s one of those rare places that looks even better in person than in the photos. The owners have put care into the details, from the crisp linens to the cozy shared spaces, and everything was pristine and thoughtfully arranged. The staff and hosts were attentive, making sure we had what we needed and sharing useful tips about local places. A lovely stay if you want calm and top-tier hospitality.

We stayed for 3nights and housekeeping cleaned the room daily. It was clean, and the geyser, kettle and wifi all worked and were available 24*7. The hotel is in a prime area near M.G.Marg. Jiten was really helpful and gave us very good tour guidance.

Very nice September hotel right by MG road. The ladies on the service staff are very good, the room is clean, and the shop is very good. The manager is friendly, room service is available, and there’s a net connection.
