Shiv Sagar palace

I come to Ganapatipule regularly, and after researching a lot I stayed here twice before deciding to write this. The owner made a strong impression on me. He's a doctor, a friendly and talkative person who guides you and gives useful suggestions at the right time. The location is especially convenient for older visitors: the Mandir is just a short walk away, and the beach is also within walking distance. Parking is spacious, the rooms are comfortable for the reasonable price, and the staff are polite and helpful. Sangam, the in-house restaurant, is good too, though there can be a wait and it could use more seating. The main difficulty is getting a booking because the place is often full. I hope the owner can expand it. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

We spent three nights here and had a decent stay, though the service still needs work. We booked an AC deluxe room for three adults. They provided a separate mattress, but it was average, and the bedding could be better quality. The rooms are good, and there's parking for both cars and two-wheelers. The hotel is close to Ganpati pule temple and the beach. There is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Staff should also check rooms each day to clean and replenish basics like water bottles and bathing kits. The in-house restaurant or canteen food could improve too.

The food was outstanding, and the staff were so welcoming and courteous. Room service was excellent as well. My family and I have been to Ganpatipule many times, but this was our best experience yet. I'll choose this hotel first on future visits.

Our room at Hotel Madhuban, Ganpatipule, was clean and well kept. Meals were fresh, tasty, and felt homely, especially the local Maharashtrian dishes. A good choice if you're visiting Ganpatipule or Ratnagiri.
