Yash Garden Residency

We had a confirmed booking, but arriving around 11:45 AM meant waiting about 1 hour and 15 minutes because check-in was strictly at 1:00 PM. That timing hadn’t been made clear when we booked. Then, as soon as we were let in, the first thing asked was for the remaining 50% payment. It felt like money mattered more than welcoming guests. The owner’s manner was unpleasant and unprofessional, and communication was poor, with no hospitality once payment was involved. The bathroom was in bad shape, with a leaking shower that didn’t work properly, and the TV was out of order too. We expected basic courtesy, clear information, and working amenities, and didn’t get them. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are better places for the price.

They didn’t even give us mattresses. The owner and attendant were hostile, angry, and incredibly rude. Even the staff seemed to hate the owner. Save your money and stay away from this nightmare.

The toilet was so close to the bathing area that showering meant being right beside the filth. I had to look away while bathing. The bathroom was tiny and filthy, with fecal stains covering the unusable toilet, a broken flush, and dirt all around it. For what the hotel charges, this was unacceptable. The room had almost none of the basics either, no hot water kettle, no mosquito repellent, nothing. Guests are expected to bring their own essentials.

We stayed here on 23 December 2025, and it was one of our worst hotel experiences. The room and bathroom were dirty, the shower barely worked and leaked, and the TV didn’t work at all, it was just for show. The check-in policy was another problem. Check-in is at 1 PM and checkout at 10 AM, but this wasn’t clearly stated when we booked. We arrived at 11:45 AM after paying 50% in advance, and the owner still refused to give us the room until 1 PM. When we asked politely, he spoke rudely and disrespectfully. After making us wait 1 hour and 15 minutes, he immediately demanded the remaining 50%. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful, and seemed not to care about guests once he’d been paid. I’d never recommend this hotel. If zero stars were an option, I’d choose that. Even one star is too much.
