SwaSwara Gokarna- A CGH Earth Experience

There are only limited food options, but the stay is peaceful and the villas feel like a home away from home. They’re really nicely designed, and you can reach OM beach directly from the property with just a short walk.

It’s a very quiet place for switching off. There are no TVs in the rooms, and with only 24 hut-based suites, it never feels too crowded. Guests have to be over 12. Aum beach is close by, reached by a nice walk through the property, though it’s public and less crowded early in the morning. The food was absolutely wonderful, and the chefs and kitchen team deserve credit. Fresh fruits and vegetables are picked daily from the resort’s own organic garden on its 26 acres. The restaurant, housekeeping, wellness centre, and management staff were all friendly, smiling, and ready to help. CGH Earth SwaSwara is a lovely, calm wellness resort with a well-qualified team running its Ayurvedic and Naturopathy centre. You can come for a leisure break with treatments or for a retreat. The pool was very nice, and there are activities like yoga, meditation, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and vegetable picking. My one suggestion for management is to update the decor, furnishings, and wellness centre, which feel a bit outdated.

There’s no fitness room, but you can join yoga and meditation classes. The nearby Home Beach is beautiful and full of life, just a few steps from the resort, while the property itself has a wonderful quiet that makes it easy to fully relax. I was impressed by how smoothly everything worked in this simple little gem. The medical treatments were good, the staff were kind and attentive, and the restaurant had plenty of variety, including vegan options with no trouble finding something to eat. A very positive experience.

We especially enjoyed the pottery and painting activities, and the Ayurvedic spa was superb. The oil massage and body scrub left us feeling refreshed. The spacious villas were beautifully designed and peaceful among nature. The food was outstanding, healthy and slow-cooked, with local flavors and different varieties each day. Breakfast was a highlight, with herbal drinks, homemade yogurt, and pancakes. Thanks to Prakash and the manager for such warm, attentive service. The serene atmosphere, hospitality, nourishing meals, and wellness offerings made this a rejuvenating stay. We left feeling happy and renewed. Highly recommended!
