We only stayed one night, under 10 hours, so we didn't make too much of it. Still, after paying over 1000 rupees, I think guests could at least be offered two cups of tea in the morning. Getting to the room was a hassle: the doors were locked, road work was going on, and there was no lift. We had to carry heavy bags up and down a narrow, winding staircase to the third floor, with no railings to hold onto. This place isn't suitable for disabled guests. We checked in around midnight on a last minute plan. At first we were given a used, dirty room with soiled bedding. After we complained, the night attendant moved us one floor up to a comparatively cleaner room. Noise from neighboring rooms and balconies carried through the walls and doors late at night, including loud phone conversations, and it felt like someone else was in our room. The Wi-Fi was listed as available, but it barely worked.

It felt like a waste of money. The hotel was in poor condition: the TV was broken, there was no towel, soap, bucket, or water, and the door lock didn't work properly. There also wasn't anyone available to help carry bags.

The online photos don't match what we found during our stay. Our first room had an AC that didn't work and a broken commode seat, and the pillow covers, sheets, and quilt were all in very poor condition. Cleanliness and maintenance were major problems. Basic things like Wi-Fi, soap, towels, and drinking water weren't something to count on. I had to ask for Wi-Fi three times before they eventually sent the password by WhatsApp. I'm a hotel owner myself, and I know running a hotel isn't easy, but proper cleaning and upkeep should be the minimum. That wasn't what we experienced.

I checked in at 4 a.m. and paid 1500 after being told I could stay for a day. By 11 a.m., staff told me to leave or pay for another day. When I reminded them what they'd said, the receptionist changed the story. The hotel didn't have a room for my OYO booking and asked for extra money, so I left and looked elsewhere. I've lost respect for OYO and won't trust them again. The room was also very dirty, unclean, and old. Please don't waste your money here.
