Hotel Pine Palace Resort

The food was a real strong point, with excellent breakfast and dinner and lots of vegetarian choices. One letdown was the French fries, which came soggy and without salt. I also asked for a wine glass and was told to use the room's water glass, then later saw plenty of wine glasses at dinner, which was disappointing. From the hotel it's an easy walk to the Gondola ride entry point. The views of snow-covered mountains and pine forests are great, and the room was cozy with an in-built heater. It stayed clean, with wooden floors and carpets. It's an older property but well maintained. The washroom geyser kept hot water available around the clock.

The staff were especially polite and made an effort to keep guests comfortable, and the on-site food was delicious, with fresh local flavors. Rooms were clean and cozy, a warm break from the Kashmiri cold, with majestic views over snowy peaks and tall pines. Hotel Pine Palace Resort, Gulmarg is just steps from the Gulmarg Gondola, a great spot for skiers and sightseers. It's a lovely mix of mountain scenery and hospitality.

I really liked the rooms' wooden structure and charming wallpapered walls. The location by the gondola is fantastic, with lovely views. 😊🏞️

Manager Altaf Ahmad Mir deserves a special thanks. He's humble, helpful, dedicated to guest comfort, and his warm manner and professionalism made the stay more memorable. We had a wonderful time at Hotel Pine Palace Resort Gulmarg, where the hospitality was excellent and everything was handled professionally. Highly recommend it for a visit to Gulmarg.
