Annapurna De Royal

The rooms themselves were spacious and well maintained, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of how it handled our checkout request. We'd booked two rooms for three nights through MakeMyTrip and asked a day ahead for a late checkout, since our flights were in the evening. After several requests, the hotel refused. They then offered an extension for one room at ₹2,100, even though the daily room rate was ₹3,500. We expected to leave around 3:00-3:30 p.m., but the night before checkout staff called again and said we'd have to pay the full day's charge to extend.

The quick check-in and responsive staff made a good first impression, and the location is great. But the rooms are small, even though they're clean, and I spotted a couple of bugs at night. The inside doesn't match the hotel's exterior. Rates are close to what a 5-star hotel in the area charges, so I don't think the rooms are good value. I'd sooner try that 5-star place nearby.

We ordered lollypop biryani, veg shangrila, pachhimitrchi kodi kebab, and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. The food was good, and the staff were really friendly. Thank you.

The restaurant is fine, and the service is worth it. The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are good.
