Fabhotel Vikings

I paid a lot for six nights and left very disappointed with FabHotels. Arriving at 11 PM, I couldn't find a Fabhotel sign. A man walking by told me I was at Fabhotels Viking, but the sign had been taken down after a raid a couple of days earlier. The room itself was mostly fine, though it lacked basic controls for the lights and fan and places to charge my phone and laptop. The listed kitchen turned out to be just a counter and sink, with no stove or cooktop. The food I ordered the next day was terrible. When I headed to work, I saw the reception table had disappeared and the area was empty, which made me nervous. My room wasn't cleaned unless I called and handed over the key every other day, and I heard a staff member say the property was being changed into a PG. It felt like an unexpected PG stay, not a hotel.

Getting to the hotel by car during busy hours was difficult because of the location. The room was just okay, but the sheets were dirty and the bedding uncomfortable. There were ants on the bed, the TV didn't work, and the internet connection was poor. The first room they gave me didn't have a TV at all. Basic items weren't ready either: I had to ask for soap and water, and then got just one bottle.

We were charged for an extra guest, but the hotel didn't provide the extra bedding we needed. Since we were paying for that person, we should have received bedding too. We won't stay here again.

I was there for a four day business trip. The room was clean and affordable, and nights were quiet enough for a good sleep. The guests seemed like decent people. There was hot water in the bathroom geyser as well as hot drinking water. Getting a ride was a problem because the hotel is far inside sector 17a. Uber and Ola drivers took a long time to arrive or declined the trip. The service needs work too. I left the keys so they could clean while I was out, but the room was done only after I returned that night. Wifi kept dropping, and mobile signal was weak in the room. Towels were usually damp, and towels and bedsheets weren't changed unless I asked. The washroom seat was broken.
