The manager at Galaxy Hotel gets my compliment, and good luck to them. My friend and I had booked two nights, but on arrival we were told there was no room for us and that we'd be sent to another of their hotels. That place was really awful, and when we said it wasn't right for us, they just said that's how it was. I was honestly confused.

At my grand nephew's birthday party, my daughter got sick after eating the oily starters and vomited in the hallway as we were leaving. The staff made a big scene, and I had to negotiate to get it cleaned for a reasonable price. Sad that guests are treated this way.

The banquet was expensive, and there was no transparency or accountability from management. On top of poor plate management, they charged extra amounts. A food item clearly confirmed on the final menu was missing at the event, and raising it then got us no proper response or solution. It showed poor management and a lack of professionalism. Not recommended.

The only real advantage is the location if you're holding a wedding or event at Tulip clubhouse. We hosted our wedding there and booked 64 rooms at RR galaxy for guests. Room service was really bad, the bathrooms were clogged, and they didn't clean rooms during longer stays. They charged for everything, even complimentary water.

Avoid this place if you don't want sleepless nights in the peak May heat. The AC wasn't working, there were no windows, and complaining didn't get any resolution. Pathetic hotel.
