OYO Flagship 525 MG Road Metro Station

We booked 28 rooms for a wedding, and this place clearly couldn’t handle the pressure. Some rooms had no water at all, and others had no hot water. When we asked, staff had the audacity to tell us to “get a tanker.” The wifi didn’t reach the rooms. The staff struggled with several customers at once, lacked people skills and hotel knowledge, and didn’t even know how many rooms were on each floor. The poor professionalism made everything more frustrating. Paraj, the senior manager, needs serious hotel management training. He was worse than the rest of the staff. He talks about five star service, but the place doesn’t meet motel standards. He seems focused on money, but revenue means nothing if customers leave unhappy. I’m never coming back. Spending a few hundred bucks more would have got us much better service. Friends staying at Hari’s court praised their service, and we should have gone with them instead. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

There are nearby shops for pretty much anything you need, and the place behind MG road is always buzzing. Parking is the drawback: the hotel lot is so small it can hardly fit three cars at once. The staff were friendly and the stay was pleasant.

The location is good, near the metro station and mgf mall, and the rooms are good too. Room service was very poor, though, and the food was so bad we sent our order back after tasting it. Some bathrooms may also have drainage problems.

The staff are very friendly, and the interiors are nice. The place is great, and the banquet hall works for small events.
