Star Inn by OYO Rooms

After waiting an hour and a half, we ended up booking directly because we had nowhere else to go. The room cost more than our online booking, wasn’t up to standard, and had a smell from damp walls and smoking. They didn’t provide towels, and wanted extra money for soap and shampoo. We’d booked through the OYO help desk, but on arrival they first told us to wait an hour, then made excuses and suggested we ignore the online booking and pay the rate they gave us. The staff were impolite and drunk at check-in, and hygiene was poor. It was a very pathetic experience. If the hotel doesn’t accept online bookings, it should be delisted from all platforms. Almost everyone had the same problem. I ask OYO and other service providers to delist this hotel.

The owner and service guy are arrogant, and the service is pathetic. The owner thinks he’s in the Tata Ambani league and doesn’t pick up the phone when people call. They tried to charge more than the listed website price, saying my booking wasn’t showing and I’d have to pay 1,000 bucks to get a room. Don’t book this place. If you do, be ready to waste your time and money.

The service is zero, with no manager and not enough staff. I stayed here for a month, and only one staff member was managing a 7 flor hotel. No doubt he’s a nice person, but the owner is so greedy. It’s an ok hotel or PG, but the owner is a third class person. If you’re thinking of a longer stay, clear everything up before moving in. Otherwise, you’ll feel looted.

I booked online through booking.com, but they refused the reservation when I arrived to check in. They then wanted twice the price for a walk-in booking.
