The staff were courteous and helpful, and we found the location, food, and service good. Our stay was comfortable, and when I asked for yoghurt at breakfast, the team thoughtfully prepared avocado toast as an alternative. Breakfast itself was decent, though it fell short of what I have had at other Taj properties, where I have seen a yoghurt and honey station. I was also disappointed that high tea was chargeable rather than complimentary, since tea, coffee, and light snacks are what I generally expect at a luxury hotel. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. Plates with leftover food sat outside rooms for a long time, attracting flies and insects. Housekeeping came after I reported it, but the job seemed careless: food was left on the stairs, and I nearly slipped on a banana peel. The room looked fine at first, but after sitting down I noticed dust on everything, including drawers and phones that seemed not to have been cleaned in ages. I was also surprised and saddened by the amount of plastic waste, since other Taj properties have always used glass bottles for me. A few improvements to housekeeping and guest amenities would better meet the expectations I associate with the Taj brand.

We spent three days here and left with a wonderful impression. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, and the staff were consistently welcoming and respectful. The atmosphere and cleanliness made for a relaxing, luxurious stay, and the service exceeded what we expected. The meals were fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. Special thanks to kitchen staff Tarun, Arpita, manoj ,prabhjit and Sukhdev for their kindness and support, and to Chef Tanya and Rohit for the food. Everyone made us feel comfortable and valued. I would recommend a stay here at least once.

We've stayed at Taj Damdama four times now, and this visit was lovely again. Nandita was there for us from check-in through checkout, always easy to reach by phone, and she made our little daughter's birthday feel special. Her warmth and attention really shaped the stay. Chef Tanya also took especially thoughtful care of our little one. The personal touches around the food made our staycation even nicer. People like Nandita and Tanya are why we return. We marked our wedding anniversary with lunch at Taj Damdama Lake, and the thoughtful attention and hospitality made it feel like a special occasion. Restaurant Manager Mr. Ravi looked after us warmly, arranged everything personally, and helped us choose from the menu. His professional, guest-first approach made the celebration feel personal and delightful. Thanks to him and the whole team. We look forward to coming back.

The property was amazing, especially the nature around it and the outdoor play area, and we'd definitely visit again. Martina welcomed us in the lobby and took great care of us, even arranging a small birthday celebration for my wife. It was a really sweet gesture. At the restaurant, Prabhjit was professional and helpful and looked after us well during meals. Shashadri also served us at the table. I went there to celebrate, and as always, Taj didn't disappoint. Thanks, Taj, you're the best in the luxury hotel chain.
