At super town house 557 near golf course road, I had to wait 1.5 hours past check-in time before getting a room. The room was in disrepair: the air conditioning didn’t work, there was no hot water because the geyser was out, the towels were soiled, the wall finish was peeling or badly damaged, the door frame was worn and poorly sealed, and the mismatched floor tiles looked unclean. The door also had a makeshift-looking industrial sliding bolt that didn’t seem standard for a guest room. The worst issue was the service washroom. Staff did not allow outside food, so I ordered several dishes from the hotel for 2300 and then went to use that washroom. I saw food items, trays, used cups, an electric kettle, and kitchenware stored and handled on the floor beside the toilet. The toilet seat was detached and perched on the bowl, which was cluttered with used plates. Management said keeping food in the toilet was “regular practice.” They also refused my request for a refund of the ₹2,300 I paid in cash for the food. The advertised services weren’t provided, and these conditions did not meet basic health and safety standards. I’m seeking a full refund. I have photographic evidence and am prepared to submit it with the complaint. I expect a prompt response about processing the refund; if this isn’t resolved, I’ll escalate it to the Consumer Court and relevant health authorities.
