Lalitha Inn

The price is very high for the unclean rooms and the services offered. Our rooms were dusty and hadn't been cleaned, and there was no restaurant or room service. The receptionist took her own sweet time with check-in and the extra bed, then was very rude when it came time to have us vacate on checkout day. Not a good place to stay.

The food was a real highlight for our group of 50. Hotel arranged it through their sister Hotel Vaishak, with a Kerala menu tailored to our request. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the tea or coffee breaks came right on schedule during the Bhagavata Sapthagam, which ran from 6 AM to 5 PM with short meal breaks. Everything tasted homely and sadhvic, and we enjoyed the variety. My wife, Sudha Parthasarathy, performed the Bhagavata Sapthagam at Guruvayoor from 21/2/2026 to 28 /2/26, and I came along. The convention hall was tidy and arranged as we wanted. Our overnight rooms were spacious and well kept. Preethi managed the event with a smile and went out of her way to make everyone comfortable. The support staff were sincere and helpful, and we had no complaints. The owner attended the opening day with his wife and offered full support, which the staff followed through on. I’d gladly recommend Lalitha Inn for events like this.

The rooms are spacious and clean. This hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, though Hotel Vysakh, under the same ownership, is a short walk away. The temple is also within walking distance, and the hotel sits beside the main road.

The room was okay, but the building didn’t feel clean overall, especially around reception. Breakfast should be provided too.
