Mosquitoes made it impossible for anyone in our party to sleep, even though we had booked three separate rooms. We also waited an hour before the rooms were ready, and the rates felt far too high for the service we got. We had celebrated our wedding here and arranged our stays at the hotel then. The service was seamless at the time, but that good memory made this visit all the more upsetting. We chose a Non-AC Deluxe room, though the bathroom was a safety hazard. Its tiles were dangerously slippery, and both my wife and I fell. When we told the staff, they were cold and dismissive. They offered no help or concern, only saying the floors were slippery because the building was old, as if safety didn't matter now. In Guruvayoor, there are other places offering better value and comfort. This place felt like a shadow of what we remembered. For your well-being and peace of mind, I'd look elsewhere instead of risking your health and harmony at Sathya Inn.

The room smelled awful, and it wasn't worth staying there. The sheets looked as though they hadn't been washed for ages, and the bathrooms weren't cleaned either. They promise hot water 24 hours, but there wasn't any. Being near the temple entrance is the only upside.

The staff were good and quickly arranged a room for us. The rooms were suitable, neat and clean.

Last week I booked a room at Satya Inn, opposite the KSRTC stand, and arrived at 6 AM. They told me I had to leave by 2 PM, which I hadn't expected. When I asked to stay until 8 PM, they wanted 1.5 days' rent. I called 100 straight away to make a complaint. Police officers came promptly, but they also said 2 PM was the check-out time and didn't know the standard guidelines. I asked the management to show me government guidelines for this policy, but they had none. It seemed to me they were exploiting customers without proper regulations.
