The room was dusty and in very bad shape. Staff might respond to requests, so the service wasn't bad, but the phone number posted on the room wall wasn't active. The location is the upside, about 500mts from guruvayoor temple and right in front of mammiyoor temple.

They charge extra for water bottles, and the rates are high, about the same as grade one lodges despite having no facilities. The rooms don't have electrical points for charging mobiles, and the staff were not good at all. This place is an old house converted into a lodge. It felt like visitors were simply being looted. I left unsatisfied and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We stayed with family in January 2019, and it was a good stay. The room was fine, with good water, air-conditioning and cleanliness, and there were fewer mosquitoes. The TV cable was out of order. We didn't opt for food. It's only a six-minute walk to guruvayoor temple and just half a minute to mammiyoor temple. I'd choose it again.

I booked through the yatra app and had already paid ₹2000, but at around 2:30 in the night the receptionist refused to check the confirmation, saying the hotel was full. The same thing happened to a group of five elderly ladies. They argued with them and said they'd complain at the police station. After that, management arranged rooms for the group free of cost. I had to go to a nearby hotel at the railway station and was charged Rs. 2400. All I wanted was a room to sleep in that night and forget the scam. The next day, someone from this hotel even asked me to pay for a booking I hadn't stayed in. I've travelled in many states in India and never had this kind of scam happen. I gave up on the money, thinking it had been dropped somewhere on the road.
