Flagship 77064 Anurag Residency kala Pahar

We were going to visit the temple as early as possible before our noon flight, and trusted Anurag hotel even though our cab driver had said he could get us a good room near kamakya temple. After calling the previous night to check room and hot water availability and explaining we’d arrive early, they said rooms were available and told us to come. At the location, they demanded extra money, had no hot water, and gave us a terrible room. The staff member was rude and arrogant, saying they wouldn’t give us a room unless we paid an extra 500rs. This was my first worst experience in Guwahati. Anurag residency kala pahar seems more interested in charging tourists extra for bad rooms than serving them. Please don’t visit. I’m writing this honest review while standing in front of the hotel.

We booked the terrace rooms, then the very next day were told to move to another room. The new one was even dirtier, smelled foul and had cigarette smells and spots on the bedsheets. The original rooms were very dirty too, with dirty bedsheets and pillows, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. Toiletries weren’t provided before check-in. It was all very unhygienic, and there’s no lift to get to the 4th floor. Not recommended for families.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s really a house turned oyo, not exactly a hotel, and the facilities were awful. I booked through fab hotels and they took my money. Don’t come here or book through fab hotels.

Everything else was fine, but I can’t trust the pricing. The website showed 800, yet they charged me 1200 despite my request.
