For Rs 2000, it’s a nice, clean and peaceful hotel. It’s a little away from the main street, so it’s quieter, but shops and the main road are still within walking distance. There are nearby walking paths for a morning stroll, and the lift makes getting around easier with luggage. Meal choices are limited, and although room service is available, eating outside is a better option. Rooms vary in size, from compact ones to larger ones with a sofa, table, and tea/coffee setup. They’re well kept, and the bathrooms are clean but a bit small. The PVC single-glazed windows are good, though the large hallway windows don’t have safety grills, so families with young children may want to keep them closed. A comfortable place with easy access and a peaceful feel.

We had a wonderful three-day stay in a clean, peaceful environment. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, and the service was excellent. It was an amazing experience.

My room on the third floor was large, and otherwise everything was good during my six-day stay. The bathroom did have some problems, though: the shower was broken, the toilet hand-spray pipe was damaged, and they didn’t replace the towel every day.

The room included breakfast, but when I asked for my choice of breakfast, reception said they didn’t have it. There were also too many mosquitoes, the mosquito liquid was empty, the tea kettle was dirty and unhygienic, and the menu looked like scrap paper with lots of impressions on it. There were no intercom numbers for reception, staff, or the kitchen. The food tasted very poor, and I felt the service was manipulated. The second-floor WiFi bill was pending; when I asked about recharging it, I was told “I don’t know,” even though the first floor was working properly. The reception man especially had a bad attitude and seemed ready to argue. They didn’t offer solutions and just bypassed issues, ignoring many pending things. They called me two or three times before 11 AM to press for an early checkout, despite the stated checkout time being 12 PM. It felt like this hotel only wanted to collect money and then stay silent. A customer may come for a day or two, but will surely leave after that.

The price is reasonable, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. I enjoyed the food and room service. I had a very nice stay and will be back at the same hotel when I visit guwahati next month.
