Hotel Divine View

I stayed at Hotel Divine View for three days, and it was an awesome experience. The quiet, relaxed atmosphere made it a good place to unwind after travel or work. Rooms were cozy, clean, and well maintained, and the polite, professional staff made sure everything was taken care of with a smile. Great value for money. I’d happily choose it again on my next Guwahati visit.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. It's close to Paltan Bazar, with shopping and taxis just a stone's throw away. The clean, well-maintained rooms make it a good choice for a solo tourist or business traveller.

The rooms were small but decent quality. I booked two rooms 20 days ahead and asked for them to be near each other, but that wasn't arranged. They weren't managed very well: there weren't enough blankets, water bottles, or bathroom items like soap and shampoo. Still, staff were supportive and brought everything after I asked just once. I'd put it at about three stars.

In the photos it looked decent, but for the price the reality wasn't worth it. The rooms and toilets are tiny, and the sheets and blankets were really dirty. I asked for a towel, had to ask twice more, and it still didn't arrive on time. And honestly, there were lots of cockroaches. 🪳🪳🪳
