Hotel Mahalaxmi Indo Myanmar

The location is superb, and thankfully there's an elevator, but the rooms are too small and dirty. The flooring by the elevator door is uneven, and I tripped there and twisted my ankle.

This used to be my go-to for years, but this stay changed how I feel about it. The food was okay, though the rooms fell short of what I expected. Despite the room rates, with taxes separate, there was no breakfast, lunch, or dinner included, even in the executive suites. None of the room types came with meals. The faucets were old and very dirty, there was no Wi-Fi, and the TV only had local free channels. It needs a total facelift.

The staff were rude, lethargic, and uncooperative. During our stay the lift broke down several times, and nobody came to deal with it until I called MakeMyTrip to complain. They also said the amenities listed on MakeMyTrip/goibibo were wrong or false. The rooms had no outside view, smelled bad, and the hotel itself is old and poorly maintained. Breakfast was extremely meagre: just two small, partly toasted slices of bread and one small piece of butter for one person. The food was very expensive, and the TV didn't work properly. An extremely pathetic stay.

Please be careful at holy nexus wine shop. They sold me expired beer. I realized after taking two sips and returned it, but the person was rude instead of apologizing. They gave my money back, but I had asked for another beer. Since all the cans were from the same batch, which they may have sold to other customers, I asked if I could get a can that cost just 40rs extra. They returned the money and scolded me to leave. I didn't have a bill because I usually don't ask for one, so I can't file a complaint anywhere.
