Kalpataru Guest House by OYO Rooms

A good, affordable place to stay, with a large room and well-kept cleanliness and hygiene. Some basic room amenities still need adding, like a chair, shampoo, and a comb, things everyone needs.

The location is good, but the service is just okay for the room rates. Staff seemed to be on their phones much of the time. I visited in December 2021, when the TV wasn't working, and came back in March 2022 to find it still dead, even though they knew about it. I won't get into the toilet seat.

I've stayed here three times and was satisfied with the service. The food, though, was very poor, and they didn't seem to work on improving it. I kept running into the same problem.

I booked a room for three nights at 1800 per night for an official trip. My days were spent at the office and with a client, and I only came back at night to sleep. The breakfast was awful and the amenities weren't provided. When the power went out around 4 a.m., there was no backup, so I was left in the dark with mosquitoes until checkout. I couldn't sleep and had to go to a meeting exhausted. This was a waste of money, and the service was worse than a Rain basera despite the high room charge. The stay was horrible. I'd say don't book here. 3/10.
