Breakfast was just as bad as the room. Staff spoke to us harshly and rudely refused a simple request to pack one piece of bread for a family member who couldn't come to the meal. There was no basic courtesy or hospitality. The room was filthy and clearly hadn't been properly serviced. Ants were crawling around, and the bathroom was disgusting. The stay was completely unacceptable. Avoid this hotel.
The restaurant had a good ambience and served hygienic, good-quality food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I had no issues with the vegetarian food. Rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean, and toiletries were provided. Kudos to the housekeeping staff and management. It's on NH 37, about 1 km from Guwahati's main ISBt, and works for either a family or official trip.
Getting here is easy from across NE India, Guwahati International Airport, and the railway station. The rooms are good, services are available, and there's plenty of parking. Room service was more than excellent. The food was delicious, with all kinds of Indian dishes and both veg and nonveg options.
The staff behaved well and the room was clean. Breakfast was too healthy.
Vrinda Regency has hygienic, premium rooms and good service. I stayed recently and would highly recommend it.
