OYO Flagship 15894 Kamakhya Dham Guwahati

The breakfast space was dirty, with used plates left around, and breakfast was late every day. In our room, there were cigarette butts when we arrived, the TV and hot water weren't working, and we found bed bugs. We stayed four days and the room wasn't cleaned once. The service was very poor and the place was unbelievably dirty. The staff seemed very lazy, and we didn't have a pleasant stay. Please don't book here.

The room we were moved to was suffocating, and there was no mosquito repellent. Our first room assignment was wrong, then we were told to move and carry our own luggage. The next room was extremely dirty, smelled filthy, had no bathroom lock, and was missing the AC remote. Cigarette packets were scattered on the balcony and by the window. We had to ask several times for towels. Reception was slow, and there was no coordination between reception and housekeeping. One receptionist was rude. This was the worst hotel stay I've had. We booked through OYO, and I'll think twice before booking with them again.

The hotel is on a hilly road, with little around besides the road and hills, and it felt overpriced. They don't accept digital payments. Our room was tiny, unclean, and nothing like what was shown on the OYO app. The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned either. Hot water from the geyser was limited to once a day. Breakfast was poor in both taste and quality, and the waiter acted as if he was paying for it himself. Room service was weak, with only two or three people available, and the hotel provided no soap or body wash. I've never stayed in a worse hotel and wouldn't recommend it.

For the price, the room needed to be cleaner. We paid 1900 for one day, which isn't cheap, and the service was just okay. Since it's so close to Kamakhya temple, guests often head out early, so hot water should be available all day. It wasn't, and I had to chase the housekeeping boy for a bucket. The food wasn't very good either.
