R D Homestay 1 by OYO Rooms

I booked for 9.1.25 and called the day before to say I’d arrive at 4 pm on 9.1.25. On the day, hotel staff didn’t answer my calls, even though I tried several times at regular intervals, and I couldn’t find the hotel. Please don’t stay here just because the room rent looks cheap. Oyo is also responsible for choosing such home stays. A big no. 0 stars. I gave 1 star because otherwise my review wouldn’t get posted.

We booked through Oyo for a day, and I used my coupon to get 25% off, bringing the price under 500. I thought that was quite good, so I booked and paid online. But when my husband and I arrived, they charged us 200 extra, and I don’t know why. That was disappointing. The rooms aren’t very luxurious, and the bachelors in front of our room were annoying. If you hate cigarette smells, don’t go there, smoke fogs are everywhere. Also, this place isn’t for unmarried couples. I wouldn’t recommend it, you can find a good hotel for cheap rates instead. Thank me later!

We booked the room online and paid online after discussing it with the hotel reception. When we arrived, they said there was no room for us. They told us the available rooms were for students, and that there were lots of students there with exams the next day who would be disturbed. They wouldn’t give us a room. We asked for a refund and were told it would be issued online, but I lost 1500 rs and haven’t received anything from the management or the website. If the hotel was only for students, they shouldn’t have taken online bookings. Rubbish.

In Oyo, the room rent was around Rs. 600, but when I got there they asked me to pay Rs. 1200. For that price, the service was poor, with no towels, toiletry kit, even a 5rs bar of soap, or water bottle. I checked out the next morning. The room I stayed in was littered with female hairs, the bedsheets were sex stained, and I found a condom wrapper in a blanket pulled from the wardrobe. This isn’t a homestay, it’s a lodge. Worst experience. Please don’t go here. I don’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a scam.
